Location: Central London, 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £120k – £150k plus equity

Evoke is exclusively working on behalf of a start-up b2c marketplace business, which is looking to add a CTO to join the founding team.

They’re early on in their journey, so far they had an MVP product built by a 3rd party, and now they’re looking to bring their development in-house and looking at a launch of Q1 2024.

The founders have a strong track record in founding successful businesses and have previously taken a business through to acquisition. They have a non-tech background so they’re now looking for a CTO to come in to define and execute the product strategy.

Whilst a strong technical background is needed, they are looking for a CTO and not a senior engineer. This is not a hands-on position as the MVP is in a good place.

The main mission will be to put the correct architecture and team in place to launch mid-2024 and help secure the next rounds of funding.

As you will be joining at a very early stage, they will be looking at a market-rate salary plus strong equity options in the business.

What you will need to bring:

• Experience in start-ups and have gone through funding rounds previously
• B2C Experience, web and mobile
• 5 + years of experience in product-focused technical leadership roles
• Understanding of software architecture and modern technology stacks
• Experience in building software engineering teams from the ground up
